If you’re looking for a live music experience in London that goes beyond a standard concert, this is one to pay attention to. First Aid Kit are returning for a one-of-a-kind show at Royal Albert Hall on September 29 & 30, 2026.

After two years off the road, the duo are coming back with a full symphony orchestra, a full album performance, and only two UK dates. If you’re planning to go, this is something you want to lock in early.

What makes this show different?

The evening is split into two parts. The first half is a complete live performance of their breakthrough album ‘Stay Gold’. Not just a few songs, but the entire record, played front to back.

The second half shifts into a wider setlist, pulling from across their discography, mixing older favourites with more recent tracks.

What really changes the scale of this show is the addition of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. A 65-piece orchestra, conducted by Erik Arvinder, will be performing alongside them, turning familiar songs into something much bigger and more cinematic.

Why the Stay Gold album?

Released in 2014, 'Stay Gold’ is the album that pushed First Aid Kit onto a global stage.

It followed the success of ‘The Lion’s Roar’ and brought in some of their most recognisable tracks like ‘My Silver Lining’ and ‘Cedar Lane’. Hearing it performed in full, especially with orchestral arrangements, is what makes this show feel rare.

This show in this particular format is unlikely to be repeated anytime soon!

Who is the First Aid Kit?

Made up of sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg, First Aid Kit have built a global following on the back of strong songwriting and distinctive harmonies.

They first broke out in 2008 with a viral cover of Fleet Foxes’ ‘Tiger Mountain Peasant Song’, and since then, they’ve steadily grown into one of the most respected folk acts internationally.

Their latest album Palomino (2022) continued that momentum, and this show marks their return to live performances after a gap.

How to reach the venue?

The Royal Albert Hall sits in Kensington, one of the busiest parts of London, especially on event nights.

The easiest way to get there is by Tube. South Kensington and High Street Kensington are both about a 10–15 minute walk. If you need step-free access, Green Park is your best option, followed by a short bus ride.
