If songs like The Anthem, Girls & Boys, and Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous soundtracked your teenage years, there's good news. Good Charlotte are bringing their biggest UK tour in years to London in 2026, giving fans the chance to hear the pop-punk classics live that defined a generation once again.

The American pop-punk icons are heading to The O2 Arena on Thursday, November 19, 2026, as part of their Motel Du Cap European Tour. It will be one of only two UK shows on the entire run, making it a major date for fans across the country.

But that’s not all!

Fellow pop-punk favourites Yellowcard will be joining them as special guests, turning the night into a celebration of two of the genre's most influential bands.

Who are Good Charlotte?

Good Charlotte emerged from Waldorf, Maryland, in the late 1990s and became one of the defining bands of the early 2000s pop-punk boom.

Led by twin brothers Joel and Benji Madden, the band broke into the mainstream with their 2002 album ‘The Young and the Hopeless’, which produced some of the most recognisable pop-punk songs of the era.

Tracks like ‘The Anthem’, ‘Girls & Boys’ and ‘I Just Wanna Live’ helped establish Good Charlotte as one of the biggest rock bands of their generation. Over the years, the band have sold more than 11 million albums worldwide and built a loyal fanbase that has followed them through multiple eras of pop-punk, alternative rock, and modern rock.

While they never completely disappeared, Motel Du Cap represents their biggest creative chapter in years and has brought renewed attention to the band globally.

The story behind the Motel Du Cap Album

Released on August 8, 2025, ‘Motel Du Cap’ is Good Charlotte's eighth studio album and their first full-length release since 2018's ‘Generation Rx’.

The album's origins are unusually personal. According to the band, the project was inspired by a private performance at the famous Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in the south of France during 2023. The experience helped reignite their enthusiasm for making music together and ultimately shaped the album's direction.

Rather than attempting to recreate their teenage years, Motel Du Cap blends classic Good Charlotte energy with a more mature perspective. The record was produced by an impressive team including Jordan Fish, Zakk Cervini, Charlie Puth, Andrew Goldstein, and Johan Carlsson.

It also features guest appearances from Wiz Khalifa, Zeph, Luke Borchelt, and Petti Hendrix.

Why Yellowcard makes this tour even bigger

Yellowcard are one of the most beloved bands from the same era and remain best known for their breakthrough 2003 album ‘Ocean Avenue’.

Their combination of pop-punk and violin-driven melodies helped them stand apart from many of their contemporaries. Expect huge reactions when they perform songs such as ‘Ocean Avenue’, ‘Only One’, and ‘Way Away’.

What the Good Charlotte London setlist could look like

While the final setlist will not be confirmed until the tour begins, fans can reasonably expect a career-spanning show. The band now have nearly three decades of material to draw from, and arena tours typically favour the biggest crowd favourites.

You can likely expect a mix of:

  • Early hits from ‘The Young and the Hopeless’
  • Fan favourites from ‘The Chronicles of Life and Death’
  • Songs from ‘Good Morning Revival’
  • Material from ‘Generation Rx’
  • Multiple tracks from ‘Motel Du Cap’

The biggest singalong moments will almost certainly come from classics such as ‘The Anthem’, ‘Girls & Boys’, ‘Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous’, and ‘I Just Wanna Live’.
